About

In a world of women that wanna be the muse, be the poet.

Hi, my name is Suzy.

My entire life has been a beautifully unhinged chain reaction caused by romanticizing absolutely everything and making impulsive decisions in the name of “love.” I’ve spent most of my years leading with my heart, which sounds poetic until you realize it usually means crying in airport terminals, falling in love way too fast, and assigning emotional significance to songs that played once in a CVS; all of which I think make for a good read, laugh, or cry. Whichever you may need.

I’m not special. I know I’m not the first girl to confuse red flags for personality traits or think a mediocre man with good eye contact could ruin her life. But I am emotional, romantic, chaotic, wildly optimistic, and just anxious enough to make every simple interaction feel like a season finale. Which, if nothing else, makes for a decent story.

Inside these entries, you’ll find tales of ex-boyfriends, bad decisions, travel, sex, love, heartbreak, questionable coping mechanisms, the occasional identity crisis, and everything in between.

So follow along as I attempt to navigate life with equal parts delusion and sincerity, stumbling my way through this satirical collection of thoughts, feelings, and overly analyzed experiences from a girl just trying to figure out where she belongs in the world.

Everyone has a story worth telling. Unfortunately for me, this one’s mine.

Sincerely,

Suzy
